While Kolkata is riding high on confidence from winning both matches, Delhi managed to bounce back after suffering back-to-back losses. Despite losing their first two games, Rishabh Pant-led DC registered a remarkable victory against defending champions CSK last Sunday. DC displayed a stunning batting performance first and posted a decent 191 target. Brilliant half-centuries from Rishabh and David Warner provided a solid platform for a respectable total. Prithvi Shah, David Warner, Rishabh Pant and Mitchell Marshall took on the CSK bowlers and played incredible shots all over the ground. At one point, it appeared CSK would quickly chase the target, but Khaleel Ahmed and Mukesh Kumar bowled brilliant overs towards the end and guided their team to a fantastic win. Delhi Capitals will go all the way to continue their winning streak when they lock horns with the undefeated KKR today. For CSK, Tushar Deshpande was impressive, conceding just six runs per over. Matheesha Pathirana was outstanding and picked up three wickets. Mustafizur Rahman, the orange cap holder, went expensive and grabbed just one wicket. 


Kolkata Knight Riders have been terrific in the competition and have won both games. Opener Phil Salt is in red-hot form and providing his team with much-needed starts. Andre Russels' fiery knock against SRH was nothing short of a wonder. KKR will be delighted after Sunil Naraine, Rinku Singh, Venkatesh Iyer, and Shreyas Iyer are back in form. Harshit Rana has been terrific with the ball. With all-rounders like Andre Russel and Sunil Naraine chipping at crucial times, KKR looks unstoppable. KKR has the right mix of experienced and young players who are rising to the occasion every time the team needs them. 


At the end of 15 matches in Tata IPL 2024, Virat Kohli has the most runs, followed by Riyan Parag and Klaasen. RCB lost the game to Lucknow by 28 runs yesterday. CSK's Mustafizur is leading with seven wickets in 3 matches. The competition is becoming intense and intriguing with each game. Rajasthan Royals won all three matches and took the top spot on the points table, followed by KKR, which won both its matches. GT, LSG, and CSK have four points each. SRH, DC and Punjab lost two and won one match.
